Hey, I am Ken, founder and face of The Tackle Shop Ely; thanks for stopping by. A few years back, I recognised that fishing supplies were hard to find in Ely, which needed to change. I wanted to support the local fishing community and provide an easy place to find all the different products required for fishing. Or, as I like to call it, the one-stop-shop for all your basic fishing necessities…and more!

After a year of planning and preparation, I opened up the shop back in May 2021. The store is filled with everything you need for fishing; whether it be rods, reels (freshwater and saltwater), bait or luggage, I can help you out. And most importantly, I love sharing my love and enthusiasm for the sport with my customers.

I am proud to have opened the only tackle shop in Ely. Based on Fore Hill, our fantastic central location is ideal for local customers and those travelling into our beautiful cathedral city from further afield. Fishing isn’t just for boys or men; it’s about everyone; it’s about families. It’s a sport that brings everyone together, both young and old, and I want to share that message far and wide.
